Are you ready for all the pumpkin things? It’s still aggressively hot here in Okinawa, so while I’m ready for the flavor of pumpkin, I need it to be cold! That’s why I created this Spiced Pumpkin Pie Smoothie
Spiced Pumpkin Pie Smoothie Ingredients
This Spiced Pumpkin Pie Smoothie requires some simple ingredients that you may already have on hand! You’ll need:
- canned pure pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling!)
- a frozen banana
- plain greek yogurt (or dairy free yogurt)
- pumpkin pie spice
- cinnamon
- almond milk
- honey (or maple syrup to keep it vegan)
That’s it for the main ingredients, but you may want to add in some boosters such as ground flax seed, chia seeds, or my favorite Nutiva protein powder!
The Method
The method for this smoothie is as simple as any other. Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and blend on high for 1-2 minutes. Your smoothie should be smooth and creamy. Then, you can give it a taste and adjust if needed by adding extra honey, extra almond milk to thin it out, etc.

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie
Ingredients
- 2 bananas frozen
- 1 cup pure pumpkin
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt Greek, dairy free, etc.
- 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon ground
- 1-2 tbsp honey (omit if using sweetened yogurt)
Optional add-ins
- ground flax seed
- chia seeds
- vanilla protein powder
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a highspeed blender and blend on high til everything is combined and smooth!
- Top with whipped cream/dairy free whipped cream if desired and sprinkle with cinnamon to serve. Enjoy!
